EMT-B Training Program

OnSite Medical Service, Inc. has assembled an outstanding faculty of teaching staff for this N.R.E.M.T. certification course! The EMT-B program at OMS has incorporated a collegiate teaching style while emphasizing the importance of hands on training – an integral part of Emergency Medical Care! Students can expect instruction from professionals who specialize in their particular areas – Professors of Physiology, Physicians in Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Physicians, Paramedics, Physicians in Obstetrics, as well as Professional Educators with years of Experience in Anatomy and Physiology! Each student will receive his or her own Littmann Stethoscope, Blood Pressure Cuff, and OMS EMT Student Uniform T-Shirt. Students will also have access to our new teaching facility, gurneys, ALS demonstrations from the CHP and REACH medical helicopters and over 24 hours of additional instruction.

OMS offers three 16 wk programs and one 8wk-training program annually. Participants in each program can expect one 4-hour lecture per week (6p-10p) in the 16wk course OR two 4-hour lectures per week (6p-10p) in the 8wk program. Both the 16wk and 8wk Course represent a commitment to 156 hours of classroom and lab work, plus 8-12 hours of clinical observation at any one of our clinical rotations.
